Soccer Recap: California City Takes a Loss

California City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Bishop Union Broncos, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1019th, while the Broncos are ranked 257th).

California City's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10-2. As for Bishop Union, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

California City will head out to square off against Kern Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Union, they will host Frazier Mountain at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Union has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 26 goals over their last three contests.
