Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jackson). They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the Upson-Lee Knights on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won three contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Jackson and bumps their season record up to 5-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Upson-Lee, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Jackson will welcome Luella at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Upson-Lee, they will venture away from home to challenge Fayette County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
