Baseball Recap: Cherry Tigers vs. Barnum Bombers
While Cherry's win against Barnum wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tigers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Bombers on Thursday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bombers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Noah Asuma made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 14 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Cherry is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 7-8 otherwise. Asuma was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played.
