Softball Game Preview: Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers vs. South Central Calhoun Titans

The Storm Lake St. Mary Panthers will square off against the South Central Calhoun Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. South Central Calhoun took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Storm Lake St. Mary, who comes in off a win.

Storm Lake St. Mary will bounce into Monday's match after beating Southeast Valley, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. The Panthers walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Jaguars on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, South Central Calhoun was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against East Sac County, falling 29-0.

The win got Storm Lake St. Mary back to even at 6-6. As for South Central Calhoun, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
