Soccer Recap: Walnut Grove's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Walnut Grove proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by five) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the East Forsyth Broncos. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Walnut Grove were the better team in the second half.

Stefan Jackson was the driving force of Walnut Grove's attack as he scored both of Walnut Grove's goals, bringing his season total up to 14 goals.

As for East Forsyth, they will venture away from home to face off against Madison County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Forsyth will be up against Madison County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.89 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
