Football Recap: Southern Lee Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 34 points the game before, Southern Lee was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were outmatched by the South Johnston Trojans and fell 45-7. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Tommy Lineberry threw for 50 yards on eight of 16 attempts.

Holt Langston produced another solid performance rushing for 239 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.5 yards per carry for South Johnston. Those 239 rushing yards gave Langston a new career-high.

Southern Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for South Johnston, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
