Recap: Castilleja Gators vs. Eastside College Prep Panthers
The Castilleja Gators can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 33-18 victory over Eastside College Prep. That's another feather in the cap for Castilleja, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Antonia Vlahos continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. That makes it 17 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Castilleja's points. Naya Sangoram was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Castilleja's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-7. As for Eastside College Prep, they dropped their record down to 11-11 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Castilleja didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 37-21 victory vs. Mercy on the 8th. Eastside College Prep has also already played their next game, a 53-29 defeat against Harker on the 9th.
