Roosevelt barely beat Central Springs the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Roughriders' defense stepped up to hand the Panthers a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for Roosevelt, who have now won six matches by four goals or more so far this season.

Roosevelt's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those five contests. As for Central Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-2 record this season.

Roosevelt has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 win against Mason City on the 6th. As for Central Springs, they will face off against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
