Softball Recap: Discovery Canyon Thunder vs. Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks
Discovery Canyon extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 6-13. They fell 5-1 to the Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks. The Thunder were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red-Tailed Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
Bella Holcomb was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. Holcomb was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one RBI.
