Football Game Preview: Tartan Titans vs. Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders

Tartan is 0-4 against Cretin-Derham Hall since October of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Titans will host the Raiders at 6:30 p.m. Tartan's defense has only allowed 13.2 points per game this season, so Cretin-Derham Hall's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Tartan is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Jefferson on Saturday. The Titans fell 14-7 to the Jaguars. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, the Titans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Cretin-Derham Hall had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 50 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 34-23 win over the Orioles.

Cretin-Derham Hall's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Tartan, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Tartan ended up a good deal behind Cretin-Derham Hall in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, losing 28-14. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Raiders' Ja'Dale Thompson, who rushed for 107 yards and three TDs.
