Baseball Recap: Coastal HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Coastal HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 15-2 to the John Paul II Golden Warrriors. If the Hurricanes were looking for revenge after losing 14-2 to the Golden Warrriors when the teams met back in April of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Coastal HomeSchool saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Saul Issa, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Coastal HomeSchool now has a losing record of 10-11. As for John Paul II, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Coastal HomeSchool will challenge Providence Athletic Club at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for John Paul II, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hilton Head Island at 2:00 p.m. on the 14th.
