Softball Recap: Schley County Comes Up Short

Schley County fell victim to Perry and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Panthers, falling 12-0. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Schley County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Perry, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-9.

Coming up, Schley County will challenge Taylor County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Vikings' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Perry, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 12-5 loss against Lee County on the 2nd.
