Basketball Game Preview: Sutter Huskies vs. Casa Roble Rams

The Sutter Huskies are taking a road trip to take on the Casa Roble Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Sutter will be strutting in after a win while Casa Roble will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Sutter earned a 45-35 victory over Natomas. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Meanwhile, Casa Roble was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 33-32 heartbreaker at the hands of Dixon. The game marked Casa Roble's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Casa Roble saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Paisley Canady posted ten points.

Sutter's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Casa Roble, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Everything came up roses for Sutter against Casa Roble when the teams last played on January 5th, as the team secured a 71-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
