Softball Recap: West Hancock Gets the Win

West Hancock took a 11-run defeat the last time they faced off against Northwood-Kensett, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Vikings 3-2. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered an 11-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for West Hancock and bumps their season record up to 2-12. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Northwood-Kensett, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

West Hancock has already played their next game, a 12-0 defeat against North Union on the 23rd. As for Northwood-Kensett, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-4 loss against North Butler on the 23rd.
