Softball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside's last matchup with Chamblee could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Tuesday. The Vikings lost 12-4 to the Bulldogs. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Lakeside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tammyn Martin, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Chamblee, they moved to 4-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lakeside is set to square off against their familiar foe Dunwoody at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Chamblee will take on rival Decatur at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
