Softball Recap: Falls City Tigers vs. Fairbury Jeffs
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Falls City's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Fairbury Jeffs on Tuesday. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.
Falls City saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bristol Titus, who went 2-for-2 with a triple.
Falls City's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Fairbury, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-14 record.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Falls City will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Lafayette at 5:00 p.m. As for Fairbury, they will challenge Southern/Diller-Odell at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Southern/Diller-Odell is coming into the game with three straight wins at home, so Fairbury will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
