Baseball Game Preview: Indian Hill Braves vs. Taylor Yellowjackets

Indian Hill is 8-2 against Taylor since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Braves will host the Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. Indian Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Indian Hill took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over Hamilton.

Noah Coffman tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Dylan Hartman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double.

Indian Hill hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hamilton struck out six times.

Meanwhile, Taylor didn't have quite enough to beat Batavia on Monday and fell 6-5.

Indian Hill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Taylor, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12.

Indian Hill beat Taylor 10-6 in their previous meeting back in April. Do the Braves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellowjackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
