Baseball Recap: Hackensack Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hackensack can now relate to. They fell just short of the North Bergen Bruins by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday.

Hackensack has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-17-1 record this season. As for North Bergen, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-12 record.

Hackensack does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Bergen, they will square off against Mount Olive on Friday. The Marauders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Bruins' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
