Coastal HomeSchool came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hilton Head Prep Dolphins, falling 5-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Coastal HomeSchool were already down 5-0.

Coastal HomeSchool moved to 8-6 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Hilton Head Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Coastal HomeSchool and Hilton Head Prep are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Hurricanes will square off against United Home Schoolers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hilton Head Prep, they will venture away from home to face off against Colleton County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hilton Head Prep will be up against Colleton County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.79 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
