Basketball Game Preview: Antelope Valley Antelopes vs. Quartz Hill Royals

Antelope Valley is 2-8 against Quartz Hill since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Antelope Valley Antelopes will look to defend their home court against the Quartz Hill Royals at 5:00 p.m. Antelope Valley will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

Antelope Valley will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Highland, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Antelope Valley came out on top against Highland by a score of 64-53 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Quartz Hill ended up a good deal behind Hesperia on Saturday and lost 61-47. The Royals have struggled against the Scorpions recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Antelope Valley's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Quartz Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.

Antelope Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Quartz Hill in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, winning 69-59. Will Antelope Valley repeat their success, or does Quartz Hill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
