Softball Recap: Roff Snags Eighth Win in Last Nine Games

Roff barely beat Tishomingo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers blew past the Indians 9-1 on Monday. Considering the Tigers have won 13 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Roff is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Tishomingo, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Looking ahead, Roff will face off against Kiowa at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tishomingo, they will square off against Dickson at 5:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
