Basketball Recap: Campbell Hall Vikings vs. Brentwood School Eagles

After flying high against Archer School for Girls last Tuesday, Campbell Hall came back down to earth. The Campbell Hall Vikings were beaten by the Brentwood School Eagles 76-40 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost nine in a row.

Campbell Hall lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Romy D'Addario, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. D'Addario has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last four times she's played. Victoria Hernandez was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brentwood School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reena White, who went 7 of 13 from beyond the arc to rack up 23 points and five steals. That's the most steals White has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Sugar, who put up 18 points in addition to seven boards and four steals.

Campbell Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Brentwood School, they pushed their record up to 20-6 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Campbell Hall has already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against Archer School for Girls on the 1st. As for Brentwood School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 75-62 loss against Windward on the 3rd.
