Salpointe Catholic extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Mica Mountain. They came out on top against the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts by a score of 51-40. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Thunderbolts recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Mica Mountain lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Aidan Erwin, who shot 46% from the field en route to 14 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jimmy Leon, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 15 boards.

Salpointe Catholic's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Mica Mountain, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-11.

Salpointe Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 78-54 loss against St. Mary's on the 28th. Mica Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
