Basketball Recap: Jonathan Bradley's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Waxahachie over Rockwall

Waxahachie and Rockwall squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Waxahachie had to settle for second. They took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockwall Yellowjackets. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2021.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jonathan Bradley, who posted 11 points along with six boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Trae Nunn, who put up 13 points and six rebounds.

Waxahachie's defeat dropped their record down to 19-15. As for Rockwall, their win was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-9.

Waxahachie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rockwall, they will take on Aldine on Monday. Aldine has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 183 points over their last three matchups.
