Softball Recap: Calumet Falls to Thomas-Fay-Custer in First Game of Season

Calumet unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Thomas-Fay-Custer Terriers by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. The Chieftains have struggled against the Terriers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The victory snapped Thomas-Fay-Custer's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calumet will welcome Okarche at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Thomas-Fay-Custer, they will be playing at home against Waukomis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
