Football Recap: Northwest Find Success + How To Watch

Northwest won the last time they faced Bethesda-Chevy Chase, and Isaiah Taylor did his part to make sure it happened again. The Jaguars came out on top in a nail-biter against the Barons on Friday, sneaking past 22-20 for which the team can thank Taylor, who rushed for 286 yards and three scores while picking up 13.0 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 69 yards.

Northwest didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Chris Tangelo and CJ Davis. Another thorn in Bethesda-Chevy Chase's side was Emet Choy, who made 17 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Northwest's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Bethesda-Chevy Chase, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-2.

Looking ahead, Northwest will look to defend their home field on Friday against Paint Branch at 6:30 p.m. As for Bethesda-Chevy Chase, they will head out to challenge Wheaton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
