Softball Recap: Guymon Takes a Loss

If Guymon was feeling good fresh off their 17-4 takedown of Beaver on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodward Boomers on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Boomers: they've now lost four in a row.

Guymon's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Woodward, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Guymon will head out to challenge Lamar at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodward, they will square off against Bishop McGuinness at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
