Softball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends North Springs' Winning Streak

It was a good run, but North Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 13-1 to the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Golden Lions from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

North Springs saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kara Hutton, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

North Springs' loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for St. Pius X Catholic, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. North Springs is set to take on their familiar foe Southwest DeKalb at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Pius X Catholic will square off against rival Marist at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
