Soccer Recap: Etowah Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Walton, Etowah was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the North Cobb Warriors get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Etowah needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Etowah's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for North Cobb, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Etowah will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Forsyth Central at 7:30 p.m. on April 8. As for North Cobb, they will face off against Roswell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
