            Softball Recap: Chaparral Wolverines vs. Valor Christian Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Wednesday just wasn't the day for Chaparral's offense. They lost  13-0 to the Valor Christian Eagles on Wednesday. The  match marked the first time this year in which the Wolverines were not able to get on the board.
 Chaparral saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brooklyn Karjala, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases.
Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Valor Christian, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the  win, which was their ninth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chaparral will take on Grandview at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Valor Christian, they will challenge Pueblo South at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Colts have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.67  runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
