Basketball Recap: Baldwin Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Baldwin can now relate to. They took a blow against the South Fayette Lions on Wednesday, falling 67-31. The match marked the Highlanders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Baldwin's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for South Fayette, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 23-1.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Baldwin will be playing at home against Bethel Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Fayette, they will square off against Mars on Saturday. South Fayette knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Mars likes a good challenge.
