Dalton Walker Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, Elkhart got the W thanks in part to Dalton Walker playing the best football he has all season. Walker rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 69 yards.

Walker must have Buffalo's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Walker last faced the Bison back in October of 2023, he rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 65 receiving yards.

On Friday, Elkhart got the W thanks in part to Trystyn Tidrow playing the best football he has all season. Tidrow threw for 294 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 47 yards. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August of 2023. He didn't just play on offense: he also made eight total tackles and defended a pass.

Tidrow and Elkhart will challenge Arp at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tidrow will face off against Thomas Mckelvey, the Tigers' star QB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Bryce Wallum's big game helped extend Troup's winning streak to five on Friday. Wallum was unstoppable, rushing for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 107 yards and two touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.

Troup's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Wallum and Troup will be playing in front of their home fans against New Diana at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
