Soccer Recap: Serrano Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Serrano was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Citrus Valley Blackhawks finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Serrano's goal came courtesy of Haley Pratt, who's now up to ten this season.

Serrano's draw gives them a new season record of 5-4-1. Meanwhile, Citrus Valley's record is now 0-10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Serrano will welcome Hesperia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Citrus Valley, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Redlands at 5:30 p.m. Citrus Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
