Softball Recap: Northside Patriots vs. Newnan Cougars

Northside won the last time they faced Newnan and things went their way on Monday too. The Patriots blew past the Cougars 15-4. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by ten runs or more this season.

Wetherly Ridley made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August of 2024.
