Basketball Recap: Calvary Chapel Comes Up Short

Calvary Chapel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the NOVA Academy Eagles, falling 50-14.

Calvary Chapel's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for NOVA Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

Calvary Chapel will be home for the holidays to greet Legacy College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Calvary Chapel is facing Legacy College Prep at the right time seeing as Legacy College Prep is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for NOVA Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Magnolia Science Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
