Baseball Recap: Chicopee Comp Comes Up Short

Chicopee Comp was the 10-2 winner over Ludlow when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Colts came up short against the Lions on Monday, falling 11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Colts have suffered against the Lions since May 7, 2018.

Chicopee Comp has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Ludlow, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Coincidentally, Chicopee Comp and Ludlow will both be playing Holyoke the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Colts will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
