Softball Recap: Meadowcreek Comes Up Short

Meadowcreek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-1 to the Chestatee War Eagles.

Meadowcreek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Melissa Figueroa-Rosas, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run. Alisson Jacome also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Meadowcreek's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Chestatee, their victory ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Meadowcreek will host Greater Atlanta Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chestatee, they will square off against Pickens at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
