West Forsyth hadn't beaten Lambert on the road since March 21, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Wolverines had just enough and edged out the Longhorns 5-4. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 27, 2024, but that streak is no more.

West Forsyth got a great performance from Ryan Morgan as he tossed six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Colton Sweat, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2024.

West Forsyth's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Lambert, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-16.

West Forsyth will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Longhorns: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
