            The Lee County Trojans will head out to  take on the Veterans Warhawks  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lee County has four straight  wins, Veterans has four straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Lee County is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They put the hurt on Northside with a sharp  21-0 victory on Friday. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six  runs or more this season.

 Cole Lindsey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Lee County let  Seth Franklin and  Weston Bryan run wild. Franklin  scored a  run while going 3-for-3, while  Bryan  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most  runs  Bryan has posted  over his last nine  games. Another player making a difference was  Graysen Spears, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Lee County  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .707. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Meanwhile, Veterans fell victim to Houston County and their airtight pitching crew  on Friday. They took  a  4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears.
 Lee County's win was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 10-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Veterans, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
 Lee County skirted past Veterans  7-5 when the teams last played  back in March of 2024. Will Lee County repeat their success,  or does  Veterans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
