Soccer Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Mt. Eden

Mt. Eden kept a clean sheet against Arroyo on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Dons 1-0. Mt. Eden's winning goal came courtesy of Melissa Torres.

The win was the fourth in a row for Mt. Eden, bringing their record up to 4-2. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Arroyo, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Mt. Eden and Arroyo will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Monarchs see the pitch they'll take on Tennyson at 6:30 p.m. on January 9, 2026. As for Arroyo, their break will end when they face Concord at 6:00 p.m. on January 14, 2026.
