Basketball Recap: Pitman Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

Pitman had won six straight home games dating back to last season and Dailynn Greener did her part to make it seven on Thursday. The Pitman Pride ended the year with a bang, routing the Hughson Huskies 52-27 thanks in part to Greener, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 boards. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 8.4 rebounds per game.

When it comes to explaining why Hughson lost, don't look at Peyton Avila. Despite the final result, she posted ten points along with six rebounds and four steals. That's the most points Avila has posted since back in January.

Pitman has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Hughson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Pitman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-32 defeat against Mountain House on the 27th. As for Hughson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 54-25 loss against Merced on the 27th.
