Softball Recap: West Hancock Comes Up Short

West Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 6-2 to Eagle Grove. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Eagle Grove this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in May.

West Hancock's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Eagle Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

West Hancock didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-4 loss against Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on the 20th. As for Eagle Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-4 win against Northwood-Kensett on the 21st.
