Preview: Healdsburg Greyhounds vs. Windsor Jaguars
After three games on the road, Healdsburg is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Windsor Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Tuesday, the stars were shining brightly for Healdsburg in a 59-40 win over Rancho Cotate. Given Healdsburg's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while Rancho Cotate is ranked 575th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Windsor scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Piner 65-37 at home. The win was some much needed relief for Windsor as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Healdsburg pushed their record up to 12-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Windsor, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8.
Healdsburg didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Windsor when the teams last played back in February, but they still walked away with a 34-30 victory. Will Healdsburg repeat their success, or does Windsor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
