Soccer Recap: Portal Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Portal faced off against Claxton on Friday. The Portal Panthers fell 2-0 to the Claxton Tigers. The Panthers have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Portal's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Claxton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Portal has already played their next game, a 6-1 victory against Bryan County on the 4th. As for Claxton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, an 11-1 win against McIntosh County Academy on the 4th.
