Basketball Recap: Templeton Takes a Loss

Templeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 65-54 to the Paso Robles Bearcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-32 back in January.

Templeton now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Paso Robles, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-12.

Templeton and Paso Robles could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Templeton (ranked 435th) will meet Cabrillo (ranked 187th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Paso Robles will square off against San Luis Obispo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 327 places (445 vs. 118).
