Basketball Game Preview: Arlington Lions vs. Perris Panthers

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Arlington Lions face off against the Perris Panthers on Monday... Arlington is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Arlington was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 26-21 to Vista del Lago.

Meanwhile, Perris hadn't done well against Lakeside recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Perris sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-45 victory over Lakeside. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since November 27, 2023.

Perris is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-10 record this season. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.
