Basketball Recap: Penn Treaty Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Isabella Ortiz and Aliyah Rogers

Penn Treaty and Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Penn Treaty had to settle for second. They took a 38-24 bruising from Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

Despite the loss, Penn Treaty had strong showings from Aliyah Rogers, who went 6 for 15 en route to 13 points, and Isabella Ortiz, who posted 11 points. That was a full 45.8% of Penn Treaty's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points.
