Soccer Game Preview: Milledgeville Athletic Club vs. Hills Academy

Milledgeville Athletic Club will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Saturday, then bounced right back against Skipstone Academy on Thursday. The Bears put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 6-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Milledgeville Athletic Club, who have now won seven contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hills Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lafayette Christian.

Milledgeville Athletic Club's win bumped their record up to 16-1-1. As for Hills Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Milledgeville Athletic Club came out on top in a nail-biter against Hills Academy in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
