Softball Recap: Johnson County Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Johnson County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Wheeler County Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 8-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered against the Bulldogs since September 25, 2018.

Wheeler County now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Johnson County will challenge Washington County at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wheeler County, they will head out to take on Wilcox County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
