Soccer Recap: Yorba Linda Comes Up Short

Yorba Linda lost against Quartz Hill back in February of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Yorba Linda Mustangs took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Quartz Hill Royals. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 478th, while the Royals are ranked 45th).

Yorba Linda has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which is still a better percentage than their 1-6-2 record this season. As for Quartz Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Yorba Linda wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 win against Rio Mesa on the 28th. Quartz Hill has also already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Alta Loma on the 28th.
